gShare, LLC is the culmination of the extensive and diverse business experiences of its founding executives, Les Baer and Al Tanenbaum. Both Mr. Baer and Mr. Tanenbaum bring to gShare unique backgrounds, skills, and leadership that enable U.S. companies to achieve successful and long-term global outsourcing solutions.
Al Tanenbaum, Managing Director, is a proven leader focused on building value for customers, shareholders, and employees. With over twenty years of progressive leadership in executive management, financial management, cutting-edge technology, merchant banking, and strategic planning, he combines his Brown University economics and Harvard MBA degrees with practical business solutions and real world insight. Mr. Tanenbaum has been a senior executive both in large corporate and in mid-sized entrepreneurial environments. His breadth of leadership experience allows him to share a broad array of business styles and operating challenges with gShare’s customers. Prior to co-founding gShare, he was President and a principal owner of The FoodFit Company, an Internet-based healthy lifestyle company where he developed, negotiated and managed strategic relationships with America Online, Yahoo!, Discovery Communications, and Lifetime TV among others. His leadership at FoodFit included implementing innovative outsourcing strategies that resulted in dramatically improved growth and increased profitability.
Les Baer, Managing Director, has a distinguished career of high-level positions in marketing, operations and customer support. He has proven leadership experience in consumer products and emerging Internet, satellite and new media companies. Mr. Baer combines a Harvard MBA and Michigan economics degree with demonstrated skills to deliver innovative solutions and results. He was most recently with America Online where for ten years he held senior positions in Retention Marketing, Member Services and AOL’s Creative Studio. While at AOL, Mr. Baer led customer support, infrastructure and technical operations working with owned, outsourced and offshore facilities and organizations. Prior to AOL, Mr. Baer worked in state of the art satellite communications ventures in which he created and led program management and field service organizations that relied upon his negotiated and managed strategic outsourced relationships. In addition, he has extensive experience in large scale consumer product marketing, manufacturing, distribution and international trade.
